What Fabuwood is

Fabuwood makes kitchen cabinetry in several series. Allure, Quest and Value Premium are framed; Illume is a European-style frameless series. That range lets you compare framed and frameless cabinets from one manufacturer on the same layout.

Fabuwood suits homeowners who want plywood construction and a broad choice of shaker and contemporary doors, and anyone undecided between a framed and a frameless kitchen.

Construction by series

Allure. Fabuwood describes Allure as traditional American framed construction: a solid wood face frame on a plywood box with veneered natural-wood interiors, thick veneered plywood shelves, dovetailed solid wood drawers on Blum under-mount full-extension soft-close slides, and a recessed plywood toe kick. Door materials vary by style. Many use a solid wood frame with an MDF center panel, while others use an HDF frame or rift-cut white oak.

Quest. A framed series with traditional overlay doors, which show more of the face frame around each door than full overlay does.

Value Premium. Fabuwood lists framed plywood construction for Value Premium door families such as Hallmark.

Illume. The frameless series, with Blum hardware and white linen interiors. Without a face frame, the doors cover the whole box and drawers and pull-outs can be wider.

Specifications differ by series and door style, so we confirm construction for the exact cabinets in your design before ordering.

Door styles and finishes

Fabuwood names its doors by family and color, for example Galaxy, Luna, Fusion and Hallmark. Fabuwood retires styles from time to time and keeps a list of discontinued doors, so we check current availability before you order.

How buying Fabuwood through us works

• Visit a showroom in Tysons, Manassas or Front Royal. Call ahead to confirm which Fabuwood doors are on display.
• We measure, design the layout and price it, framed or frameless.
• We order the cabinets and install them with our own crews.
• Countertops are templated on the installed cabinets and cut in our own shop.

Fabuwood cabinets are covered by the manufacturer's own warranty. Ask us for the terms.
