What Yorktowne is
Yorktowne Cabinetry is a Cabinetworks Group brand that builds made-to-order, ready-to-install kitchen and bath cabinets, and it describes them as American-made, inside and out. The lineup is organized into series: the Historic Series, the Iconic Series and the Classic Series, plus the Bath Sanctuary Collection for bathrooms.
Yorktowne suits homeowners who want framed American cabinetry with room to personalize, and especially anyone who has their heart set on inset doors.
Inset and overlay
The Historic Series is Yorktowne's inset line. Doors and drawers sit flush inside the cabinet frame, a tailored look that is often chosen for traditional and farmhouse kitchens. The Iconic and Classic series use overlay doors that sit on the face of the cabinet frame.
Inset is the more demanding construction to install, because every door has an even gap on all four sides. Our crews level and shim each cabinet before the doors are adjusted, which is what keeps those reveals straight.
Construction
On its construction page, Yorktowne lists:
- Solid-wood dovetail drawers
- Quiet-close, full-extension drawer guides and quiet-close hinges
- Laminated furniture board for cabinet sides, tops and bottoms
- Roll-out trays available as an upgrade
Box and drawer options can differ by series, so ask us which ones apply to the series you are considering.
Styles, finishes and customization
Yorktowne offers traditional, transitional and modern door styles, a gallery of paint and stain finishes, and specialty finish groups such as Appaloosa, Coastal and Woodland Oaks. Its customization options cover range hoods, islands, glass and metal inserts and decorative accessories.

Yorktowne Cabinetry questions
Something we did not cover? Call (540) 305-0431 or send us the details.
Does Yorktowne make inset cabinets?
Yes. Yorktowne's Historic Series is its inset line: the doors and drawers sit flush inside the cabinet frame instead of on top of it, a tailored look often chosen for traditional and farmhouse kitchens. Inset leaves less room for error in installation, so we check level and reveals carefully as our crews set each cabinet.
Is Yorktowne semi-custom?
Yorktowne describes its cabinets as made-to-order and ready-to-install rather than using the term semi-custom. In practice, your cabinets are built after you order, from Yorktowne's range of series, door styles, finishes and customizations such as hoods, islands and glass inserts. We confirm which options apply to the series you choose when we price your design.
Where are Yorktowne cabinets made?
Yorktowne says its kitchens and baths are American-made, inside and out. The brand belongs to Cabinetworks Group. If country of origin matters for your project, we can point you to the manufacturer's own statements and confirm details for the specific series and finish you are ordering.
Do you install Yorktowne cabinets?
Yes. We measure the room, design the layout, order the cabinets and install them with our own crews. If you need new countertops, our fabricators template the installed cabinets and cut the slab in our own shop, so the cabinets and the tops are handled by one team from start to finish.
