What Quality Cabinets is
Quality Cabinets, written QualityCabinets by the manufacturer, is a Cabinetworks Group brand built around value. It offers wall, base and vanity cabinets in several depths and a wide range of sizes, wood species, door styles and colors, with optional upgrades and decorative accessories for personalizing the room. The brand also makes the WoodStar Series.
It suits kitchens, bathrooms and laundry rooms where budget matters but you still want a framed cabinet with a solid hardwood face frame, and the freedom to choose which upgrades you pay for.
Construction and options
Quality Cabinets publishes its construction specifications. For the QualityCabinets line:
- Solid hardwood face frames, 3/4 inch thick
- Engineered-wood box as standard, with an All Plywood Construction option that upgrades the backs, end panels and bottoms
- Standard drawers in engineered wood, with an upgrade to solid hardwood dovetail drawers on full-extension, soft-close guides
- Hardwood doors for stained finishes; painted doors may be hardwood or MDF
- Door styles in both full overlay and traditional overlay
The WoodStar Series uses an engineered-wood box with a solid wood face frame. Its options differ from the QualityCabinets line, so we confirm them against your design.
Styles and finishes
The door lineup includes styles such as Tobin, Kittery, Peterson, Galveston and Baldwin, several offered with a five-piece drawer front. Wood species include maple and birch, and laminate doors are also available. Door names and finishes change over time, so we confirm current availability when we price your order.
How buying through us works
- Visit a showroom in Tysons, Manassas or Front Royal to compare door styles and finishes. Call ahead to confirm which Quality Cabinets samples are on display.
- We measure, design the layout and price it, with and without upgrades, so you can see what each one adds.
- We order the cabinets and install them with our own crews.
- Countertops are templated on the installed cabinets and cut in our own shop.
Quality Cabinets are covered by the manufacturer's own warranty. Ask us for the terms.

Are Quality Cabinets made of plywood?
Not by default. The standard QualityCabinets box uses engineered wood for the backs, end panels and bottoms. The brand offers an All Plywood Construction option that upgrades those parts to plywood, and wall shelves can be upgraded too. Face frames are solid hardwood either way. We can price your layout both ways so you can decide whether the upgrade is worth it.
What is the difference between full overlay and traditional overlay?
Both are framed cabinets. Full overlay doors cover nearly all of the face frame, so you see mostly door and drawer fronts. Traditional overlay doors are smaller and leave more of the frame showing around each door. Quality Cabinets offers door styles in both, and the choice affects the look more than the function.
Is Quality Cabinets a budget cabinet line?
The brand positions itself on value. It offers wall, base and vanity cabinets in several depths and many sizes, species, door styles and colors, with optional upgrades such as plywood boxes and dovetail drawers. That makes it a practical choice for kitchens, baths and laundry rooms where you want framed cabinets and control over which upgrades you pay for.
Do you install Quality Cabinets?
Yes. We measure, design the layout, order the cabinets and install them with our own crews. If you also need countertops, our fabricators template the installed cabinets and cut the slab in our own shop, so one team is responsible for the cabinets and the tops.
